August 2017

FOUR  1st year Diagnostic Radiology Residency Positions (PGY-2) will be available July 1, 2018 at the West Virginia University School of Medicine, in beautiful Morgantown, WV.

These FOUR new PGY-2 positions are the happy result of our program’s permanent complement increase from 16 total to 24 total that became effective July 1, 2017.

These FOUR new positions beginning July 2018 are in addition to the six positions we offer in the coming fall recruitment cycle for July 2019. We are very enthused to increase our resident numbers quickly and offer an extraordinary training experience to FOUR candidates who are presently in (or have successfully completed) an approved ACGME accredited internship/preliminary year, and will be ready to begin Diagnostic Radiology training in July 2018.

We will be accepting applications for 2018 positions during the fall 2017 recruitment season only through ERAS (include 3 letters of recommendation, MSPE, personal statement, USMLE step 1 and 2 scores), and positions will be appointed through the NRMP.

Our trainees enjoy above average ABR Core Exam scores 3 years running. Salary (54,169/yr) + full benefits package.
