Registration Now Open - New Coordinator Foundation Course: Sunday, May 7 – 1:00-5:00pm

Before the AUR even officially begins, the APCR will launch the expanded Foundation Course for its newest members. Formerly called the Boot Camp, the New Coordinator Foundation Course spotlights the essentials which all Radiology Residency and Fellowship Coordinators need from Day 1 - the timeline and description of responsibilities, familiarity with multi-media resources for professional and networking references, problem-solving forums incorporating the experiences of novice and experienced PCs alike.

If you have worked for two years or less in the position of program coordinator, this course will help you build a strong base upon which you can professionally expand.

There is no added fee to attend the New Coordinator Foundation Course, however you must register. Please email Sylvia Zavatchen at zavatcs@ccf.org and put “New Coordinator Foundation Course” in the subject line. Include your name, position, institution, contact email address, contact cell phone number, and a current picture (head and shoulders shot, please). Pictures will be uploaded to the meeting app unless you specify that you wish your image withheld.

TIP! TIP! TIP! Please make travel arrangements accordingly if you plan to attend.  May, 2017

We are extremely proud to announce that the APCR Certification Task Force Group has successfully completed the assessment tools for Diagnostic Radiology and these have been accepted by TAGME! Radiology coordinators will be able to sit for TAGME certification this coming spring during the AUR meeting scheduled for March 23 – 25, 2010, in San Diego, California. The certification assessment will take place the day before the meeting actually begins which would be on March 22.

There is also an open assessment site which will have a number of clinical specialties administering their assessment tools and is a convenient alternative to those who may not be able to make the March 22 trip to San Diego. The open assessment site is in Chicago, IL and will take place on April 10, 2010.
